One Filler. Total Efficiency. Introducing Standox VOC-Xtreme U7670
As repair volumes increase and energy costs continue to rise, bodyshops are under pressure to improve efficiency while maintaining the high-quality finishes modern repairs demand. Standox is addressing this need with advanced refinish solutions designed to streamline workflows without compromise.
At the centre of this approach is the Standox Xtreme System, powered by Axalta’s patented Fast Cure Low Energy (FCLE) technology. Developed to deliver both speed and flexibility, the system enables bodyshops to adapt to varying workflow demands - whether prioritising rapid turnaround or reducing energy usage.
Introducing the Standox VOC-Xtreme Filler U7670, a next-generation 2-in-1 solution that combines sanding and wet-on-wet applications in a single product. By eliminating the need for multiple surfacers, it simplifies product selection, reduces inventory and supports a more consistent, efficient workflow.
Designed for speed, the filler offers excellent air-drying performance and can be sanded in approximately 30 minutes. For wet-on-wet applications, a short flash-off time of around 5 minutes allows for fast overcoating, making it ideal for new parts and quick-turnaround repairs.
Ease of use is a key advantage. A single hardener is used across application methods, helping to streamline mixing processes and minimise the risk of errors in busy bodyshops.
The filler also delivers strong application performance, with smooth flow and excellent vertical stability straight from the spray gun. This ensures a uniform surface that is easy to sand or overcoat. Available in white, grey and black, it supports improved basecoat coverage and consistent colour results.
Built to perform at temperatures as low as 20°C, the Standox Xtreme System reduces reliance on energy-intensive bake cycles while still delivering reliable, high-quality finishes.
“As bodyshops continue to balance productivity, quality and cost pressures, innovations like the Standox VOC-Xtreme Filler U7670 are helping drive faster, more efficient repair processes,” said Jim Iliopoulos, Axalta ANZ’s Product & Technical Manager.
